Hector Bellerin hopes to win Spanish La Liga. New Real Betis right-back Hector Bellerin has confirmed he will temporarily leave Arsenal to join Spain in the hopes of winning the title.
Bellerin was not in Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s plans. And was sent to Real Betis ahead of his debut in the 2-1 win over Granada in Spanish La Liga on Monday
The fashion-forward right-back said of his goals for playing this season: “I left Arsenal to win trophies with Real Betis. I didn’t come on vacation.”
Real Betis are set to face Celtic in the Europa League on Thursday. With Bellerin saying ahead of the game: “Playing against Celtic. It will be a special game because they are a big club with a long history.”
